I'm a Southerner, but I only drink hot tea with milk and no sugar. If you ever order sweet tea from a restaurant here, it's like drinking syrup with a hint of tea flavor. It's absolutely disgusting. It's not even just a Southern thing either. Asians have their bubble tea shit which is somehow worse, even though they always claim to hate overly-sweet foods.

"Spicy food" is such a fucking meme, making something more painful to eat doesn't make it taste better.
If something requires being spicy to be good it isn't good food.
