What does /ck/ think of this? Proposed plan to replace food stamps and handouts with regulated government issued food boxes for people on low incomes. Personally I think this is a bold move that would work extremely well. Poor people just spend their stamps on shitty food, this would help them a lot more. Good to see someone willing to take up the task of fixing such a big problem facing our inner cities and "urban" areas.
