While I can't predict the exact nature of your error, I'd bet you think it means something related to 'name' or similar, although honestly I don't have the brainpower required to work out EXACTLY how you are wrong, based off limited information.

Now, that aside, nominal it comes from Greek νόμος (nomos), which means 'law' or 'regulation'. All systems nominal, therefore, means 'all systems are operating correctly, in accordance with the standard'.
