The q2 used to come in two different versions, 38mm "pentagonal" burrs and 38mm "heptagonal". The pentagonal burrs were very similar to your c2 burrs. The heptagonal are "clones" of the comandante. Q2 was seen as the "budget king" for a while because it was basically a $100 chinese comandante and a great entry point for a filter grinder. The q2s only has the hept burrs.

Certain burrs get copied for a reason. You'll find that "c2"/"q2" burr design in a ton of cheap grinders. They're basically simpler clones of the "m1" burr in the old baratza maestro(encore predecessor). Baratza stopped using that design a long time ago in favor of the "m2" burr. 1zpresso's zp6 took that design and tweaked it for lower fines.

Even "high end" aftermarket burrs aren't unique in this aspect. SSP burrs are just (tweaked) korean clones of ditting/malkhonig's designs.
