How do you handle meal planning for a single person /ck/? Just trying to think of a shopping list is such a chore I'd almost rather eat fast food every day (and I really, really don't event want to do that).

I would like to be able to buy like a month of groceries at a time but I can't even decide what I'm going to have for dinner tomorrow so if I buy a jar (or even if I make home-made) pasta sauce I get like 3-4 meals of it so I end up eating different kind of noodle with the same sauce every day until the sauce runs out.

I've seen some online meal planners but they seem to be just purely randomized (perhaps with a calorie target) and don't allow selection of foods I can/can't eat.

The entire history of those Isles is pretty depressing. They boiled the shit out of absolutely everything from their beginnings as a people far as I've been able to research. It even got so bad they had to encourage people to drink the boil water in the 20th century because of malnutrition. WW1 and WW2 rationing did nothing to better their cuisine but I think they have always been culinarily fucked up. That's probably part of the reason they took over the world.

That hotdog looks fucking amazing, but it needs some pickled peppers(tobasco, sport, jalapeno,pepperoni, etc.), some relish, cheddar cheese, and a fuckton of celery salt. Some ketchup or sriracha too.

Half of my family is from Loui, the others from Texas. Im Houston born and bred but of course have a lot of experience with cajun and creole food.
Theres a lot of good women around here, although I did move to a smaller metropolitan area outside of the city. Houston is admittedly a shit hole, but even there if you shack up in a nice church youre bound to find a traditional white woman who can cook. My congregation in Houston can throw the hell down in a pot luck.

Can confirm. The state some of these folks are in when they come into the hospital is astounding. Malnourished, dehydrated, contracted, covered in bed sores from not being turned or moved around, riddled with infections... dirty. Like, give them 3 baths and your wash cloths are still brown with lingering dirt and dead skin cells dirty. I get a lot of long term vent patients at my hoapital and theyre walking incubators for bacteria. We put them on isolation before we even get blood work back just because they all have some kind of super bug like MRSA, pseudomonas, ect.

I've dabbled with making something that was kind of like ramen.

I made egg soup (which I guess is more chinese than japanese if you really want to be specific), then added some more onions, parsely, leftover pork roast, and some soup noodles.

I like soup, and I like noodles. It worked out pretty well, to be honest. I plan on making more the next time I have leftover roast meat.
