Marinating chicken in hotsauce.
Yes or no?
If yes, for how long do you?

My roommate loves wings. But he refuses to eat them if you buy whole wings and cut them, according to him he only likes the cut ones. Despite explaining to him a thousand times that they are literally the same fucking thing he still insists that he doesn't like them.
Watching him cook is the most infuriating thing I've ever experienced.

what's your favourite way to prepare chicken wings /ck/?

I'll share our old family recipe.

>bring a big pot of water to a boil
>add a teaspoon of salt
>dump chicken wings into the water (the more the better)
>cook for 1 hour
>fish out chicken wings
>dump the gross chicken water into the sink

The wings will be tender and delicious. If you don't my spicy food add some black pepper to the water.

I've got about a dozen wings thawing but I have zero experience cooking them. I'm looking for some general tips, cooking methods, etc. I want to avoid making some shit like hot wings though. Also I've got a decent variety of herbs and spices to work with along with other kitchen basics like garlic and whatnot.
