you never put salt on your watermelon? It somehow makes the watermelon sweeter. It accentuates the sweetness of the melon by contrast to the salt. Just add a pinch, though. Too much will kill it.

I imagine this drink to be full out watermelon soda with a citrusy tartness to emulate the "salt on watermelon" taste.
