For frozen pizza? Not even a little. It's purpose is to get a nice crusty bottom by the time your toppings are melted and cooked through, and I've yet to see a frozen pizza that has that issue. But if you're the kind to make your own dough and have a pizza night a few times a month, absolutely. It's how you end up with beautiful shit like this bad boy.
