>making some bolognese
>chop up onions and leave them on the cutting board while prepping everything else
>meat is cooking and the house smells wonderful
>add onions and carrots to the pot
>everything is going great
>by the end taste the sauce for seasoning
>the whole fucking thing tastes fishy
>realize roommate cut fish on the cutting board and didn't clean it properly
>whole pot of bolognese is ruined and tastes like what happens when you accidentally bite through a fish oil capsule
