Does it really matter where food come from? We see it all the time: Wisconsin cheese, Idaho potatoes, Nebraska corn. Does it really make a difference, or is it just a marketing ploy? When I traveled to Portland last year, I kept hearing about how their coffee scene was among the best in the country. As someone who drinks coffee literally every day, I couldn’t tell any difference. Seems like food is food regardless of where it comes from.
