I recently made some mini fermentation crocks out of a mason jar, airlock, rubber grommet and plastic lid. I have six of them but I haven't had the time to try to ferment anything yet. However, the updated weather report says we will now get 3 instead of 2 feet of snow by Saturday. So I think I'll have some extra time on my hands. I think I'll try some carrots, beets and saurkraut. I'll post pics later.

The tomatoes I can get a hold of right now are really poor quality. I want to can something in season- root crops, pears, apples, citrus.

While I haven't tried to make wine, I have made mead before. Just last night a friend asked me if I would be making some any time soon.
