I'm doing this recipe here, and I look in the fridge, and see not only am I out of butter, but my baking powder is all baking soda. So what's the conversion ratio between soda and powder, and what do you think will happen if I don't use butter? Will it turn out OK? Can I replace it with vegetable oil? Or should I just man up and drive to the store for some butter?
