I have a question for you guys. I'm not religious, but my family is Adventist, and they don't eat pork. I saw that lining strips of bacon on top of turkey is supposed to not only increase the overall flavor, but keeps the bird moist, so if I used beef bacon, or if I can find it, mutton bacon, will it do the same thing? I'm discounting turkey bacon because it's definitely going to dry out in an oven.
