I left a tub of margerine out overnight by accident because drunk. Is it safe to eat if it doesn't smell bad? Temperature has been stable here at about 23-25 celsius.

Google suggests conflicting results. I would've imagined unsafe to eat due to growth of bacteria as it's a dairy product.

Are there any advantages to using margarine over butter?

I bought margarine for the first time today at $3 for a 2lb tub. It's cheaper and more plentiful than a box of 4 butter sticks at $4.

I haven't used it enough to tell the difference between taste and whatnot. Google just tells me it's healthier.

Can /ck/ enlighten me?
