Remind me again why people buy expensive booze.

I also picked up some kraken black spiced rum because the bottle looked cool and it was $12. I tried a sip and it's actually great. It's harsh but has a hint of vanilla and something else in it. When I finish my current cup of gin and shasta I'll try the rum with the soda and report back.
