I own this son of a bitch and this is the best drip coffee maker there is for the price.
For one, Bunn is extremely reputable. It's the company that makes basically every single piece of coffee and tea equipment for basically every single restaurant. This machine came with a long warranty and when I wrote Bunn asking about diffuser spigots, they sent me a handful of new diffuser spigots for free. The slower green diffuser heads are definitely necessary. We also bought a mesh filter basket, but you can use a regular basket with paper filters.

Pros:
>great tasting coffee (slower diffuser heads basically necessary but free)
>keeps a reservoir of hot water, so it only takes 3 minutes to brew a whole pot
>costs like $80
>reputable company with great customer service and warranty
>don't have to turn on the hot plate if you don't like to (some machines only have one "on")

Cons
>could be difficult to clean if you don't use purified water (we've only used purified in ours for years and there's never been any buildup)
>little bit awkward to learn to use because of the hot water reservoir system
>little bit bigger than the average drip so demands more counter space

There's no point in making coffee one cup at a time if you actually drink coffee, and there's no sense in letting a Keurig brew your coffee if you actually like the way coffee tastes. Keurigs are for faggots and women who want to have a single weakly-brewed cup of bean water as a base for their sugar and soy lattes.
Like coffee and want it fast? Buy pic related; it's a commercial quality coffee maker that keeps water hot in a reservoir at the back. Put in your coffee and you have a pot in 3 minutes. They have options for diffuser nozzles too so you can control how strong or weak you brew, but their weak/direct brew still isn't weak like a Keurig, so you won't like it if you're a coffee culture usurper.

>It takes you 8 times as long to make a coffee than it does for me.
And I'm making ten cups at a time instead of fucking one measly little drip of coffee. What's your point? Your faggot machine is for faggots.

I have a French press if I want to use it, but I also just have a good drip machine. It keeps the water hot in the reservoir so I get a 3 minute pot of coffee whenever I like.
>drinking instant coffee from a jar of powder rather than having a whole pot of good coffee for the same amount of work in the same time span
Do yuros really etc etc

>it tastes the same
Found the tastelet, what's it like literally having fewer taste buds than everyone else?

>If you pay more for "good" coffee (which is a known commodity good) you're a fucking faggot.
I bet you think anyone who doesn't buy fucking shit store brand Cheep*Valu products is a faggot, too. Some people like nice things and have the palate to distinguish between nice things and shit things for poor people. Do you?

>>11009578
>When I see people drinking coffee
That's your answer right there. You don't see anyone who drinks their coffee at home in their kitchen, you only see the commercial Coffee Branded Beverage drinkers.

>Not milk, not half & half, but whole cream, or heavy whipping cream.
This guy knows. I drink 2-3 cups of coffee daily always with heavy cream, no sugar. I picked up the habit when I was doing keto. Not doing keto anymore, but I can't stand a sweet coffee. However, thick delicious coffee with real cream is 10/10.

Anyone ITT using HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL 'creamers' needs to neck themselves.

>>still tastes like bitter shit and each cup requires twice the beans

>anon doesn't know how to use a french press, overloads it with way too much coffee that is ground too fine and probably a dark roast at that, then complains the coffee is bitter
In another era, natural selection would have precluded you from being here at this age in your life.
You're fucking doing it wrong. Don't blame the French press. Most of coffee quality has to do with freshness and bean quality, and after that it's how you treat it. I love my French press because I know how to grind my own beans to the right size, how to get my water to the right temp, break the bloom after 30 seconds, I got my wooden coffee stirrer ready, and bam.

A French press makes an amazingly rich, full-bodied, silky cup of coffee and drip doesn't come too close. Though, I do use a drip for most daily coffee drinking because it makes more and is less work. I have pic related. It keeps hot water in the reservoir so it can make a pot of hot coffee in 3 minutes.
