I kept breaking them so I bought a cast iron circular griddle which I think works just as well and is indestructible. I use it to cook homemade tortillas as well.

Literally a bread with toppings. I'm making a pizza tonite that will be properly thin with a sourdough I've been fermenting for 48 hours on a cast iron griddle. Thick bread pizzas are abominations and Chef John is a fag.

I went cast iron after I broke 2 of the stones. It works even better than the stones and I can use it on my stove top to make homemade tortillas.

I did. I bought a second one after the first broke which proceeded to break as well. Then I got smart and bought this indestructible iron badass which produces a better crust than wimpass stone anyway.

A cast iron griddle works better than a skillet for thin crust, desu. I like mine better than a stone. I also use it for homemade tortillas and breakfast fry ups for overnight guests.

I broke 2 stones so bought this cast iron griddle and it crisps the bottom of the dough better than the stones I had. Another thing I like is it can be washed but the stones always instructed not to wash them. I preheat an hour before adding the pizza.
