Seriously, it's because it's made in New York. There are over 2000 pizzerias and the competition is staggering. When restaurants outside of the north east claim to be New York Pizza, they end up compromising on ingredients or quality. Even if the owner/chef is from NY, the lack of competition elsewhere makes them compromise quickly.
