Where can a person who isn't a boomer or instagram whore even go to talk about food on a real level? I come to 4chan for the 2% chance that I'll get to talk to someone interesting or learn something new because it's the lesser of two evils.

Restaurant food costs aren't ubiquitous for each item of the same menu, though.
It should be 25-35% overall, but they're making more on the wings, fries, and soda, and less on the steak or fish. More on alcohol. Less on vegetables.

How much would you really pay for a side of, say, cauliflower au gratin? $4, $5? When accounting for the veg, heavy cream, cheese, and general labor that goes into it, they'd be selling it at $9 under a ubiquitous pricing scheme. That's just not how it works, my dudes.
