Rappie pie, simultaneously the most disgusting and delicious looking food that exists. It's my favourite thing in the world. My grandma is Acadian and she taught me how to make it from scratch just like how all ten kids in her family would team up to make huge batches. Cover that shit in butter (and I like a little chives on top too actually) and it's like heaven in your mouth.
You won't be able to sleep from the meanest indigestion it gives you. Totally worth it though.

I don't necessarily hate rappie pie, but it's the most baffling use of good potatoes and chicken imaginable.

I never have it unless someone else cooks it because if I have potatoes and chicken I'm going to make fucking potatoes and chicken, not turn it into terrifying grey tuber goop
