Where was that stated as being bad for you? In fact the word traditional seems to have skipped your head. Go look at the established literature before jumping to idiotic conclusions based of anecdotal opinion and see that what is called 'the meditteranean' diet is not what you think it is but has an established diet make up constituting food groups which are seen as beneficial to ones health and longevity.

Does anyone here watch this series? It's a 90s food show from Nippon that I rather enjoy on account of its over the top theatrics and bloody ingenious cooking.
