Why does the "milk and eggs in a disaster" script exist for so many people, anyway? I live in Massachusetts and whenever there is a big snowstorm on the horizon, you can reliably expect the milk and eggs to be sold out or severely limited at most grocery stores. It's bizarre. Those aren't particularly nutritious or non-perishable foods compared to some other staples.
