I've got a temperature controlled hotplate with which I could technically do semi-sous vide too. I would love to use it as an excuse, but then I would have to lie to myself. If only it were true sous-vide.
But.. knowing myself I'm probably going to buy one someday anyway. Biggest problem is space atm. That Brevile also looks so sweet, but its price isn't funny anymore.
