This is what the original Hamburger looks like, and funny enough you can still get it just like this because the original Hamburger strore is still open and operating

Somehow, burgers now all have buns, but it used to be bread as you can see

What condiments do you prefer on a burger? It seems to me, the two more popular choices seem to be ketchup and mayo (most Wendy's burgers, the Whopper) or ketchup and mustard (most McDonalds burgers, McDouble, etc) , so what are your thoughts? What do you prefer on your burger?

Who here prefers hamburgers to cheeseburgers? It seems cheeseburgers have become the dominant choice of society, but the hamburger is still quite good

Overcooking burgers should be a sin. Nobody likes bland tasteless meat, it doesn't matter if it's ground beef or steak

This is why manchildren like you cover burgers in ten condiments and throw a salad on top while you struggle to choke down the charred grey beef that's been smothered in cheese to the point you can't taste it at all, because it tastes BAD

If your burger doesn't look something like this, you're doing it wrong, and why even eat a burger at that point? You're not going to taste shit but overcooked flavorless meat, unless you season the shit out of it in which case you may as well just eat literally anything else, make fucking chili....ground beef tacos, sloppy joes, literally any other use of ground beef would be better at that point

It does if you like awful dry burgers with no flavor

They should be cooked more than that though, more like this

It's come to my attention that people in Texas hate anything that tastes sweet, especially ketchup....so much so that their own places such as Whataburger don't feature ketchup by default, something most burger places do, and according to my friend they don't like cheese either

So, it's got me thinking about burger preferences....how do you like a burger? For me, one thing I can't stand is a cold bun....a hamburger bun has to be kind of toasty or something, even steamed, to be fully enjoyable....as for condiments I'm down for almost anything, sometimes ketchup and mustard, sometimes BBQ sauce, sometimes just mustard, but regardless I always put a thin layer of mayo on the bottom bun and a piece of lettuce

Now, as for veggies I can have pickle and tomato and stuff if I feel like it but the one thing I always want is onion, raw or cooked, personally I find it's best to cook the burger itself along with some onions so the whole thing tastes of onion, and then top the burger with the cooked onions....

As for cheese, I enjoy it but I don't agree with those who say American cheese goes best with a burger simply because it melts the easiest, I'd much prefer swiss, pepper jack, or mild cheddar.....

Now as for the burger itself, I don't enjoy a burger that's been cooked to shit, I like it to be slightly pinkish and tender, obviously not raw but if it's tough and grey I won't enjoy it too much

Why do people have such a problem with chewing with your mouth open? It aerates the food
