Be me. Use the Wendy's app to place an order on my phone.
I order when I'm five minutes away and figure by the time I
get there I will just walk in and pick up my order and DONE!
When I get there I walk into the store. Tell the woman at the
register my name and even show her the details of what I ordered
on my phone. Woman looks confused and runs around the kitchen
looking for my order. She doesn't find it. She looks on her display
where you can see drive through and walk-in orders listed. Still
nothing. Finally the manager tells her there is another screen where
the app orders come in and that she should be aware of that screen.
Turns out they didn't even start making it yet because she didn't know
about that screen so she never put the order in with the kitchen. I ended
up waiting longer for a pre-paid order done on my app than if I had just
walked in and ordered straight from the counter.
