I don't give a shit if Bill fucking Gates walks into a restaurant and orders $1000 dollars worth of food, expecting rich or famous people to tip more is retarded.

The guy was a dick? Who fucking cares? He was a dick and left a shit tip? Get over it.

Every restaurant could easily do away with tipping, pay their employees federal minimum wage, and would only need to raise prices fractions of a dollar. They could easily raise the prices of drinks instead and still make enough money to meet costs. Restaurants that don't meet costs every month will close just like they do already.

Tipping shouldn't be something used so people working at an establishment do you favors, it shouldn't be something you think you can control a server with, it shouldn't be some bullshit you use to show off to people you dine with. Tipping was originally used because people wanted to give servers a little something extra because they had amazing service, now it's expected of everyone and it's fucking stupid.
