I got diverticuliosis myself. As long as I take my fiber supplements/eat a big bowl of bran or prunes every other day or so I have no issues but I've found that leafy greens can trigger an diverticulitis attack. Pretty painful and I have to be on antibiotics for a couple of weeks. If I don't get treatments or it gets really bad my colon can rupture and send me into septic shock. But like I said, as long as I keep things moving with fiber and don't eat a lot of things that can get trapped like greens or hard nuts, it's not an issue.
