I pity those of you born in the 90s, for you will never know the joys of original O'Boise Chips. The thick cut leading to a crisper crunch, the bubbles for extra texture, the perfect ratios of oil and salt. Then the bastards changed the recipe sometime in the mid 90s, a different oil or a lower temperature I think, and ruined them by adding an oily aftertaste. They were taken off the market a few years later. Someone bought the name and started selling them again, but with an even shittier recipe and even less bubbles.
