I like your style. Biscuits just don't come out the same without keeping it cold before baking. You make me want to do some cookies for desert!

My biscuits:

All purpose 20ish ou
Buttermilk 1cup
6tbsp butter cold
1/4tsp b. Soda
3tsp b. Powder
1tsp kosher salt
2tsp light brown sugar

So important to bake in good pan, nice and tight and about 2inch wide x 1inch tall, imo. 400f 15ish min.

Most important thing you said is that technique and experience really is what makes good dishes.

First time al/ck/ post here. My game:

>Friday or Saturday
>Start downing cheap lite beer around 5-6 or earlier if saturday
>Do a gram of blow
>drink until 6am or later
>feel out of breath, deathly, and anxious for entire Sunday.
>by wednesday drinking a bit and more on thurs usually
>repeat

Dearest /ck/,

I would like you to critique my southern style biscuits.
>2 parts all-purpose flour to 1 part self rising is used.
>all salted butter for fat.
>whole milk used.
>brown sugar added.
>Baking soda/powder
>kosher salt
>Dusted with white sugar and buttered after cooking

I usually lurk /pol/ so these biscuits might be fascists. I hope that doesn't influence your opinion. These are wypipo biscuits.
