What is this meme that women and homosexuals do where they pretend they have an "addiction" to coffee?

I get enjoying your coffee, I do to, have maybe 3 or 4 cups throughout the day but mornings are borderline insufferable at work when I start hearing all of them go on about they can't possibly function and going on about coffee then at the same time just dump 4 or 5 sugars into it anyways.
