Real answer:
It’s difficult to find unless you order it from an online specialty grocer or live somewhere with enough Brit locals that they have an actual store that sells such things.
So hard to find -> nobody tries it -> basically no demand -> repeat.
Pic is an “Irish breakfast” at one of only 2 places in my city that even serves black pudding, and the piece is way too small.
Also, for the record, it’s 10x better than white pudding.

Not being a dick, actually asking. This place in particular is owned/run by a guy from Liverpool who will speak at length about his using “real Lincolnshire sausages”.

From a fellow burger’s prospective: I’d compare it to an overcooked breakfast pork sausage patty, but in a good way.
Like it has kind of a dark/intense pork sausage flavor, but without tasting “burned”. It’s also dryer.
But honestly it’s really damn good. When I first tried it I was expecting an irony “blood” flavor, and there was none of that. Just rich goodness.
What I want to know is why the fuck white pudding even exists. It’s like black pudding without flavor.
Pic is breakfast at one of the places I’ve found in the US that actually has black/white pudding, “rasher” bacon, and Lincolnshire sausage.

Bongs plz rate this “Full Potatostan Breakfast”.

It’s hard to find places in the US that serve an actual Full English or Irish.
Two places in my city sell a “full English”.
Both are owned by Brits.
But one has the correct bacon & sausage, beans, mushrooms, etc. but has no black pudding.
The other has black pudding but uses American bacon, doesn’t have mushrooms or tomato.
Shit sucks. All I want is a proper hangover breakfast.
