A buddy took his deer to The Country Smoke House in Almont Mich several years back and they charge him $140 and it was a kinda small buck.

But then they have to pay for the couple of dozen Mexican butchers and a bunch of refer trucks they bring in for the deer season, yet hunters are lined up on the shoulder of Van Dyke waiting to drop their deer off for processing.

Yeahbut, this is no different then people here on /ck/ spending a bazillion dollars on a Super eXterme Hiroshima Special chef's knife and other cooking gadgetry.

It's part of the hobby.
