So after some help from /ck/ and /int/, I've been using my chinese hand-me-down rice cooker over the past few days and I'm ecstatic. This thing is a game changer.

I've "graduated" from just cooking rice and today I made a fish biryani using brown basmati rice, , shallots, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, chopped green beans, chopped coriander, garam masala, coriander powder, cloves, turmeric, bay leaves, smoked paprika, chili and two cod fillets.

Started off the shallots in a pan, threw in the ginger garlic paste and spices, then stirred the rice through for a couple of minutes - then chucked the whole thing into the rice cooker with 3 cups of water, the beans, some yogurt. Mixed and placed the fish fillets on top.

Shit was glorious. Post your recipes, rice cooker favourites mofos.

Sup cu/ck/s? Was given this exact rice cooker by a friend. How the fuck do I use it and what the fuck do these symbols mean? Also is it any good?
