Finland representing: mykyrokka. A soup of vegetables, kidney, heart, liver, and the all important "myky" dumplings of barley flour, beer and blood of the animal in question. Most commonly autumn slaughter season food, but also done with larger carcasses caught hunting.

Dumplings can also contain onion. Older recipes form the dumpling out of lard or suet rather than beer. Also the soup is at its best after 2-3 reheatings, as flavours and ingredients have had the time to mingle and form a thicker broth by breaking down into it.
