the first time I had steak was when I was about 8 or 9, my parents cooked it to done, then on a visit to my uncles house he cooked them medium rare, and it was like night and day.

from then on I wanted my parents to cook it that way and got lots of guff because my mother thought that the slightest amount of pink would kill you. my dad didn't care as he would eat anything put in front of him.

never looked back rare to medium the the range I cook it. has nothing to do with other peoples opinions of peer pressure.
