Oh another reason why dishwashing sucks - and its not actually the dishwashing itself. The fucking managers (may, depends a lot on who they are) but probably will try to get you do ALL KINDS of non dishwashing shit like food prep and general cleaning. Since you're considered totally replacable or are a dumb kid or enserfed immigrant you can't really say no without quiting.

All the "good" dishwashing jobs I had didn't last more than a season or two bevause invariably the mamagers that understood you were there to wash dishes would leave for greener pastures and some faggot dipshit lifer would cone in and screw you over. In fact I'm sure they WANTED me to quit so they could get somebody more survile. The job was never "fun" for more than a couple months if that since ut was so contingent on the management not being asshokes which they always ended up being bevause working as a chef or back of house manager invariably seems to make you a ruthless asshole.
