Started saving bacon fat, now for breakfast I can just have a slice of sourdough with lard spread on it

Underrated breakfast

>Is the joke of this gif that(...)
That's from the pilot episode of King of the Hill. That episode's particular theme revolved around an inner city CPS worker who kept making judgemental presumptions about Hank for being a redneck. The scene is used to emphasize Hank is a redneck, but the episode goes on to show the viewers shouldn't make assumptions about him being "dumb" or violent because of this.

Also, for me, it's lard.

No, though lard on bread is another Slavic treat. Usually served with pickles.

Bread and some sort of fat or oil is classically European, so it's prevalent all over the western world.

A popular Eastern European snack is just bread slathered with lard. Good with pickles, too. Honestly, there's just something about fats on bread.

It's good on rye bread with pickles. Why do you faggots have to treat every board like it's /int/?

>Americans literally just spread lard onto bread as a snack
The USA was a mistake.

I'm going to Barcelona and Cevillia with some friends in a few weeks, and one of my friends keeps kosher, in that he won't touch pork or anything pork-related. I've heard that bread dough in Spain is occasionally made with pork lard. Is this true? How do we avoid getting this kind of bread?
