Kind of a long story, but here it goes. Go with family to a restaurant downtown since we don't go out often. We go inside to order our food and some appetizers. End up waiting a while with drinks already empty. Waiter isn't around, but later a new guy shows up who took his place. You can tell he doesn't want to be there. We let it slide because it must have been confusing for him. Slowly he brings out our food only later state he will get our appetizers. Tell him to cancel it since its pointless now. Quickly comes back saying he made sure it was canceled like he did everyone a favor. Keep asking for our refills on drinks, but end up never receiving and the guy only chooses to run to us with them only after we went talk to the other employees about it. Begrudgingly tell him its frustrating for us. He doesn't listen and randomly goes to get the manager. He never went to get him. We end up tracking down the manager about the issue. Manager says he is out of the loop and very busy despite just sitting around talking to his pals. Entire family tells him this was the worst service they had. Manager suddenly begs us he will make it up. Tell him he can do whatever feels fair. Surprising makes our 65 dollar bill to 15. Which is funny because we would have rather have a good service and pay the 65 then do whatever that was.
