Can I still call myself a vegan if I eat meat about 4 or 5 meals a week?

The vast majority of my meals are still vegan and my "default" food when going out with friends is still vegan. But I just can't give up the things I love in life, like a real burger or steak a few times a week.

I still consider myself a vegan. F what other people think...

So I've been dating this white girl for about a year now since school, and some of the shit she does is really starting to get on my nerves.

Case in point - she's been a 'vegan' for about 6 months now and she'll literally tell anyone she meets about how great her food choices are for the world  She's captain planet, in her own mind. But it's ok, cuz she 'means well' and seems to be making an effort. Except the truth is that she'll eat chicken & fish about 3x a week but she tells me it's ok to be a 'part time' vegan and still call herself a vegan. She's begged me and even "warned" me and will threaten to not have sex with me if I tell anyone about her eating meats.

I can endure her talking out of her ass most of the time because she actually has a great ass, which I enjoy very, very much. But I'm literally at the point where I want to just blurt out "so did you enjoy that chicken last night?" when she's preaching veganism at some social event or dinner. And now we're arguing about it and she won't give in to the fact that she still calls herself a vegan despite eating meat.

So /ck/. Am I in the wrong here? Am I petty for calling her out on her BS or should I just let it slide? Let me emphasize again that she has a GREAT ass, and will do some dirty shit that no other self respecting girls would do. :-)

So, something has been bothering me for a while and it seems like it's not just me...

Lately I've started feeling guilty about "cheating" on my vegan diet. By cheating, I mean that I will eat fish, chicken, or eggs twice or three times a week, but I absolutely avoid beef! Beef is the worst. But when I came clean to my vegan friends, most of them just shrugged and told me they do the same but never tell anyone....

So now I don't feel so guilty or bad. Since this is an anonymous board, lets be honest here: how many people here like me tell people that we're vegan, but allow some cheating here and there? lol
