White strawberries are not albino strawberries, they lack or are low in a protein that causes regular red strawberries to turn red when they ripen. White strawberries still ripen, but because of the lack of that protein, they remain white. White Jewel strawberries are low, but not devoid, of that protein, which is why you can see certain strawberries that have small streak of red. There are many cultivars of white strawberry aside from the one showcased in that clip.

I went and double-checked the numbers and apparently the individual strawberries are $10 each, while the pack (# unspecified, but a small pack) goes for $40, which isn't even the most expensive breed of JP strawberry you can buy. There's a variety called Kokota that goes for roughly $22 per berry. Pic related.
