It's basically like eating a soggy placenta, complete with juices and everything. My friend who is in the reserves let me try one once that he grabbed and it was horrible

I unironically loved the Vegetarian Omelette MRE (American). Even if you were late to the box, you could always count on veggie omelette being left. It is purely a salt and salsa verde delivery system and came with Skittles (MRE gold). The texture is kind of rubbery, but a rubber that gives way to a slight graininess. It's a shame they stopped producing it.

As someone who spent 3 months building and living on an OP in the middle of the fucking desert, let me tell you this:

Veggie Omelette was (Discontinued) the best MRE. Why? Because nobody eat them. They were ALWAYS left in the box. Always rat fucked beyond recognition. But you take a couple of bottles of tabasco and put it on that gelatenous block, and you're in for a good meal.

Fix this omelet, I want to find the sadist that made this mre. The hash browns were pretty good though.
