Prepare for Sv3rige posters (remember he stares at the sun, believes the earth is flat, drinks virgin blood, and eats rotten meat.)

If you want to be persuaded there are plenty of channels you can watch and books you can read. There are a few basic arguments but you'll find just as many counter arguments online. I personally recommend you go vegetarian before you try veganism, otherwise your body will shit itself and you'll have a rough go.
Arguments:
>name the trait fallacy
>Better for the environment
>Ethical (Carnists will bring up animals killed harvesting grain; remember cattle consume much more grain than humans ever could. They are raised on grass and fattened on grain, meaning the net amount of animals killed is much higher when consuming animal products.)
>Can be healthier (Supplement vitamin D if you do not receive enough sunlight and vitamin B12. B12 was in the dirt before we adopted modern agriculture, carnists will try to use vegan supplementation as a counterargument, although many carnists themselves need to supplement b12.)

Yes, eating a little is fine. Especially if you are just now moving to veganism, be prepared to make some slip ups. If it helps, I would stay vegetarian for a little while before you really dive in. Otherwise you might burn out. It's more about slowly changing the way you eat than doing it all at once.

You can get the same nutrients on a plant based diet, without the ethical or health concerns.

Start as a vegetarian if you were not before. It seems you have not done enough research on veganism, diving into a completely new way of eating without any idea how to make/find vegan foods is a terrible idea. Look up "what I eat in a day vegan" on youtube. Do not click on the females, generally. Their diet is not always the best representation of what you should be eating as a man. Read the following:
>the starch solution
>how not to die
Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30TEoXtzyqA And perhaps pick up a cookbook or two. Remember starting as a vegetarian is not a bad idea. It can help ease you into it and will give your body time to adjust to higher fiber/healthier food depending on how you used to eat.

>ummmm if you eat animals you can’t say it’s not okay to exploit them in other ways!
Vegans are calling you hypocritical; you think it is okay to torture and eat animals so long as you eat them, but you (or most carnists) are generally against things like animal abuse/dog fighting. Vegans are saying to be morally consistent, you either have to say all animal abuse is wrong, or none of it is. Otherwise, you are a hypocrite.
>you do realise most people in the world aren’t middle class furfags who can easily get a onions latte whenever they want
The cheapest foods are plant foods. (Potatoes, rice, beans, etc.) As with any diet, there are ways to eat expensively, and ways to eat cheaply. The majority of peasants and poor people throughout human history have subsisted on a diet mostly consisting of plant foods.
>Millions of peoples diets, and their jobs, rely on the meat industry.
People can change their diet, and the jobs will remain in the agricultural sector. (we will need more harvesters and equipment operators)
>so you are arguing we either undergo a major upheaval in how we eat all of a sudden, just so our morals are “consistent” or that we actively decide to make the situation for animals even worse arbitrarily? And you care about animals ethics
No major upheaval necessary, just a shifting of the way we eat to more sustainable sources. Eat a little less meat in your diet. If you want to keep eating less, you can do so, if not, that's fine as well. But if you get up in arms about animal abuse you are definitely hypocritical.

Not an argument
>>12302814
>game is not unhealthy
It is not sustainable, there is no evidence to suggest it is "healthy" or "unhealthy. The majority of humanity does not consume game meat, but rather farm raised livestock.
>some nutrients are only found in animal products
Supplementation. We supplement livestock with the same nutrients they are lacking (I assume you are specifically talking about B12).

Meat is absolutely unhealthy, directly linked to increased cases of heart disease, atherosclerosis, colo-rectal cancer, obesity and diabetes.
>Eating meat is not "cruel"
Killing something necessarily for pleasure is cruel; it is in fact the definition of cruelty. Animal products are no longer necessary for human survival, and therefore strictly used for enjoyment.
>so the animals don't have to feel extended pain.
These animals would not exist if they were not bred for needless consumption.
