If you are served "fancy chicken nuggets" instead, then I can understand your viewpoint, but there is nothing wrong with thick cuts of deboned chicken breaded and served in wing sauce.

Not wanting to have bones in your meat is a valid complaint (I'm looking at you, authentic indian curry).
The eating experience can be improved for wings even without completely removing the bones. Cutting and pulling the chicken to make "lollipop" chicken is great.
