It is inferior in taste and quality to Yellowbelly Master Race, but it has the hipster faggot stamp of approval. That's all PBR has going for it: Hipster popularity. Coors Original is seen as "blue collar" beer, and no one will ever get past that.

It's a perception thing. Period. Put one in one glass and another in a different glass, hide the cans and then ask someone which beer tastes better, and they will pick Coors Original every single time. But as soon as they see the can? Up goes the nose, and they turn away. Even if they admit the Coors is better, they'll never order it in a bar. Because hipsters.

The irony there isn't lost on me.
