Anon you retard, just because there's a U shaped finding where too little sodium and too much sodium are both bad for cardiovascular health doesn't mean eating infinite salt is a good idea.
Before even getting to long term health risks eating massive amounts of salt will have short term negative effects like giving you diarrhea, water retention, headaches, elevated blood pressure, etc. That's simply what the electrolyte does in large amounts when ingested and isn't in any sort of doubt from new studies the way the long term cardiovascular risks are.
If you don't believe me then go chug a liter of soy sauce.

It's really not that weird you hysterical faggot. It works as a soup and it works as noodles without broth more similar to Mi Goreng.
Mi Goreng isn't meant to be a soup and I can tell you Mi Goreng and Maruchan are extremely similar when you prepare Maruchan that way (although Mi Goreng is lower sodium).
If you use Maruchan with scrambled eggs then it would be retarded not to drain the water before adding the eggs and flavor packet.

You fell for a retarded meme.
If anything, it would be bad for people who had insulin resistance to begin with (spiking blood sugar doesn't cause type 2 diabetes; it causes trouble for people who already have pre-diabetes / diabetes). And it turns out it's not even bad in that context:
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00325481.1958.11692236?journalCode=ipgm20
>We have for the past 15 years treated numerous diabetic patients with the rice diet. Since more than 90 percent of the calories in this diet are derived from carbohydrates, it was anticipated that increased amounts of insulin would be necessary to keep the blood sugar at its previous level. However, the opposite proved to be true. As previously reported, not only is the rice diet well tolerated but in many instances the blood sugar and the insulin requirements decrease.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0140673655902117
>There is no indication that healthy people taking a diet rich in carbohydrates are especially liable to diabetes ; in fact numerous observations show improvement of carbohydrate tolerance following its greater intake. The Staub-Traugott effect is a classical example of this in acute experiments. As a long-term effect diabetes mellitus is not especially common among the huge and mainly carbohydrate-eating populations of the world-e.g., the Chinese-except the rich and the sedentary among them who partake of large quantities of fat as well and encourage obesity by overeating.
Just mind your calories. Biggest predictor by far for type 2 diabetes is being overweight.

It's not mac and cheese if it's not mac and cheese, dipshit.
Bacon and graham crackers aren't mac and cheese.
Mac and cheese has two ingredients:
1) Mac
2) Cheese
Why would you ruin a nice, soft, warm, and gooey mac and cheese with a bunch of hard chunks of graham cracker and bacon bits?
This is almost as bad as that anon who did the "ramen noodle sundae" thread where he just kept on mixing random disgusting out of place ingredients together, except that anon at least had the self-awareness to know what he was doing was disgusting, unlike the person who came up with that retarded graham cracker bacon bits macaroni and cheese idea and yourself.

>I wouldn't doubt they have a social media team.
Yeah, but you actually need to measure what you're doing and report on results. I've never worked in marketing but I've seen the social media teams you're probably thinking of (every business large enough to have one does) and none of them would include 4chan in what they cover.
Most of what they do is going on sites where people complain like Yelp and make shitty attempts to calm those people down. Or you have the twitter / facebook stuff like with the Wendy's social media team where they try to cultivate a cool and funny image.
4chan wouldn't make any sense because it's pro-anonymous by design with constantly disappearing content, and even if all those things didn't apply you still wouldn't want to show up at the big meeting with your company's VPs to present a powerpoint on all the 4chan posts you've been making. What happens when the people in your meeting pull up 4chan and see that autist from last night's threads at the top of the catalog feature a smiley face emoji with a cock and testicles above an enormously wide open asshole dumping green shit everywhere? What happens when they see all the posts of people calling each other nigger and faggot and posting gore and gay porn in the timeframes before someone deletes them?
>>12480938
>You will see the exact verbatim arguments and ad hominem arguments in a lot of the threads
The same anons post the same things multiple times in multiple places. That's autism, not social media marketing. You also have slightly less autistic anons who start posting repetitively because they know people like you will read into it as a marketing campaign and get upset over it, like with all the Jollibee threads.

>Typical? Are you kidding me?
Why are you asking *me* this? I keep on pointing out it's not something I claimed, it's something this anon claimed:
>>12399735
>It takes effort
>determined fat ones
^He clearly characterized gaining weight despite cutting out carbs as the exception rather than the rule.
>>12399811
>No dude, I don't think that's what he was claiming.
That's exactly what he was claiming. I'll try to break it down even further here:
We have a claim about sugar making people (type 2) diabetic (might be from the same anon who said "it takes effort" to gain weight while cutting out carbs or it might be a different anon, but either way this is what the conversation is premised on):
>>12399676
>And it was sugar that made people type 2 diabetics all along.
Here's my response:
>>12399722
>This says MORE people are becoming obese. I thought your fad diet was a "cheat code" for fat people to lose weight?
And here's the reply to that:
>>12399735
>No, you can get fat on keto if you eat too many calories. It takes effort, but it can be done by the determined fat ones.
>it takes effort
>determined fat ones
This unequivocally means we're talking about the exception and not the rule, which invalidates the theory this simultaneous drop in diabetes and rise in obesity can be explained in terms of people cutting out carbs. If it WERE explained by people cutting out carbs then we should be seeing FALLING rates of obesity, not RISING rates of obesity. The other possibility is to drop the "it takes effort" claim and say people who cut out carbs end up gaining more weight instead of losing more weight *on average*. This isn't what ketofags usually claim though.
Does that cover enough now or is there something else you want to go into on this topic?

/ck/ has NEVER had a majority of cooking threads. It's the food & cooking board, most 4chan users don't cook, and cooking threads are the most boring thing you could read or participate in next to papercraft. Honestly I wish oriental moot would split this board up into is separate food and cooking components just so you could see firsthand how the food board would carry on like normal and the cooking board would have low enough traffic to get deleted a month later.

I was vegan for a few years. It was kinda nice until I started lifting. Being vegan while lifting as an average middle class goy honestly just got too complicated. Maybe it'd be easier if you had money to throw away on very decent vegan food (not shitty bean burgers) and a qualified nutritionist.
I'm very much against factory farming and try to buy locally sourced meat, but to make a hard switch to shovelling pounds of beans down my gullet to sustain my protein demand is outside the realm of possibility.
Couple that with the fact that every vegan I know (irl or youtube personality) who has been so for 3+ years is borderline anemic from iron deficiency, limp wristed, or just looking ill and tired all the time. Why is this the norm? All your statistics on macronutrients and environmental impact per calorie etc. all check out, but why can't you explain your own poor health?
I would switch to veganism immediately if most vegans I met were the examples of exceptional health they claim themselves to be. That is ALL it would take, but it couldn't be farther from reality. So if you don't mind, I'm going to continue eating my goddamn meat.

Gullible retards do.
>>11622071
>Just looked it up and some places recommend that men should be drinking about 100oz per day which is almost 3 liters. I bet I drink that in a day easily.
https://www.bmj.com/content/335/7633/1288
>Medical myths
>The advice to drink at least eight glasses of water a day can be found throughout the popular press. One origin may be a 1945 recommendation that stated: A suitable allowance of water for adults is 2.5 litres daily in most instances. An ordinary standard for diverse persons is 1 millilitre for each calorie of food. Most of this quantity is contained in prepared foods. If the last, crucial sentence is ignored, the statement could be interpreted as instruction to drink eight glasses of water a day.
>>11622916
>enjoy your dehydration and shitty complexion
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6514825
>The results indicate that during free access to water humans become thirsty and drink before body fluid deficits develop, perhaps in response to subtle oropharyngeal cues, and so provide evidence for anticipatory thirst and drinking in man.
The idea you will somehow accidentally become low grade "chronically dehydrated" unless you force yourself to drink large amounts of water each day is 100% bottled water company propaganda bullshit FYI.

No, that's fucking wrong, and you were proven wrong the last time we did this thread. Stop it. It's made up babytalk bullshit some retard felt the need to shoehorn into a perfectly fine word because they couldn't understand how "soda" already implies carbonation.
