I got food poisoning from some shitty on-campus eatery during my 2nd year of college. I bought Mac and Cheese for a quick meal since I'd been stuck in lab all day and didn't really care what I was eating at that point. The food itself tasted fine, but I came down with symptoms within 3 hours of eating that shit. I had diarrhea and vomiting for roughly 3 weeks afterward and had to be hospitalized 3 times for dehydration.
In the end, I missed out on a fuckton of chemistry labs, and my inorganic prof held my barely lucid ass hostage the day after I got out of the hospital for the third time to take an exam.
