So I tried foie gras for the first time, the expensive high quality stuff too. It was entirely disappointing. Why would people pay so much for this stuff? It tastes just like regular liver paste only with a fuck ton of butter and oil added to it.

Almost as disappointing as caviar. Not living up to the hype gourmet food stories go.
