>try to shake the blender cup to get the ice to un-stick, maybe it will blend better

>smoothie all over me and counter
>they leave after they're done fighting
>pour everything down the sink and go cry in bed
>buy a Ninja blender later and never have that issue again

I do not like being in the kitchen with other people. Especially ever since

>never allow myself to walk in front of people
>always pull shirt down to make sure at least half my ass is covered
>wear extra long tees and A shirts
>hate it when other people are in the kitchen with me, always avoid kitchen small talk

I really hate my family.

I'm sick of my parents fighting all the time when in the kitchen

They make all the family's meals together, my dad has always been the cook but the last 2 years or so he's been teaching my mom how to make most of our dishes

But they always fight. I hate eating their food when they fight. Food should be made with love and care, not berating and alcohol-fueled hate. I often pretend I'm asleep and curl up on the couch until they're done or max my headphones to drown it out.

Anyways, I was thinking of getting one of those live laugh love signs to put in the kitchen to remind everyone it's supposed to be a safe place to make good food, not to vent your frustrations and stress. Something like "food is made with love" or "the kitchen is where the heart is". Maybe it will help them remember to not yell and be mad at each other. Any ideas?
