House sitting for a friend and ordered some Chinese take out while I was really drunk.
I tripped down the stairs, and tumbled to the bottom in a spray of general tsos chicken and pork fried rice.
I just sat at the bottom of the stairs for a moment and then I started crying while eating what little was left in the trays I held onto.

I did the best I could the next morning to clean it up, but I missed a spot where a piece of chicken had splattered on the ceiling. My buddy noticed it and went back to review the footage on his interior house cam to figure out what happened. A perfect view of my fall, pause, and then gentle sobbing as I picked at the leftovers. He showed it to me the next day while he laughed and I died a little inside.
He has never cleaned up that stain and intentionally left it there as a reminder.
