Most of the times when you order Moules Frites here, the mussels come in this particular pan, with the fries on the side. They'll put the weirdly shaped lid of the pan on your table upside-down so you have a place to put your empty shells. >>17194315 would be a terrible way to serve them, as the fries would get soggy in the mussel liquid.
